Not because I was reckless — because I didn't have visibility.
I was doing what everyone says to do: saving, investing, trying to be disciplined. But I couldn't answer one simple question:
That's when I started digging into the math. Compounding made sense. Index funds made sense. But there was still a gap: no tool actually showed me what my behavior was doing to my future. Not in real terms. Not in a way I could act on.
So I built a system that shows me.
At one point, I had more money than I'd ever had — and realized that without understanding the system, it wouldn't matter. That was the moment I stopped guessing and started building a system I could trust.
I built it because I didn't want to guess anymore.
